
AIDS Day Services Association
The AIDS Day Services Association (ADSA), a 12 member organization representing the Adult Day Health Care programs in the metropolitan New York region, was established to support its members in delivering a system of quality care that is responsive to the needs of its HIV/AIDS client population.Mission
AIDS Day Health Care programs provide on-site services for people living with HIV/AIDS who have co-morbidities. The programs licensed by the State Department of Health, are designed to address the needs of people who have difficulty accessing services, many whom have histories of chemical dependency, serious and persistent mental illness, and/or homelessness.The programs provide a community setting in which individuals are encouraged to function independently at optimum capacity, while managing their medical condition(s). The programs operate 15 sites now, with two others in development.
